Nisreen's World

  Hi to all, this is Nisreen. Are you enjoying the changing autumn leaves?     　 こんにちは、Nisreenです。紅葉が美しい季節ですがいかがお過ごしでしょうか？ The other day, I was delighted to see that my visual art became part of a history professor (my husband)'s lectures materials at a conference. 嬉しいことに、私のビジュアル・アートが歴史の先生（夫）のコンフェレンスでの講義資料に顔を出す機会がありました。   It was a series of illustrations describing the secret friendship between the Japanese and Chinese space programmes in the 1970s and the 1990s. In order to take the edge off a fairly sensitive subject, he asked me to draw the illustrations in the cute and light-hearted style. I was happy and relieved to hear the positive feedback about them from the audience. それは、1950年代から2000年代にかけての日本と中国の宇宙開発における秘かな協力関係を描いた一連のイラストレーションでした。なかなかデリケートな話題ではありますので、やわらかい雰囲気のイラストレーションにしてほしいとの依頼でした。ありがたいことに聴衆のみなさんからポジティブな反応があり、嬉しかったです。 Besides this, I also had a chance to take part in his university class about visual analysis.
