[Bilingual post] Farewell 2023 -/ ２０２３年よ、さようなら

   Hi all, this is Nisreen. How are you enjoying the winter holidays?

  　こんにちは、Nisreenです。冬休みを楽しくお過ごしでしょうか。

It's incredible to me that 2023 is already ending!

もう２０２３年が終わるだなんて、ちょっと信じられない気持ちです。

The year 2023 was a year of many harvests for me.

２０２３年は、私にとって公私ともに沢山の収穫に恵まれた年でした。

ーI went through two moves, one was international and the other was domestic.

海外と国内の2回の引っ越しを経験しました。

-I officially became a mum of two dogs.

正式に２匹の犬のお母さんになりました。

ーI have made lovely friends in a new country.

新しい国で素敵な友達に恵まれました。

ーI performed in several dance shows and participated in overnight dance events.

複数のダンスショーに出演し、泊りがけのダンスイベントにも参加しました。

-I did numerous paintings and socialised with other artists both online and offline. The image below show a few examples of my paintings from this year.

数多くの絵を描き、オンラインでもオフラインでも他のアーティストと交流しました。以下は、描いたものの一部です！

-I joined a local art exhibition.

-地元の美術展に参加しました。

-I painted a peace-themed piece for the online exhibition "Hear Our Voices" by the female association, Womankind.

Womankindという女性協会によるHear Our Voicesというオンライン展示のために平和をテーマにした作品を描きました。

-I contributed to university education by art.

美術で大学教育に参加しました。

I am halfway through my online course for a Bachelor in Psychology.

心理学の学士を取得するためのオンラインコースを半分終えました。

- I started learning a new dance form, Manipuri Dance.

マニプリ・ダンスという新しい舞踊を習い始めました。

-I climbed Rocky Mountains, but by bus.

ロッキー山脈に登りました。（バスでですが・・）

May 2024 be another fruitful and above all healthy year. In a world of constant strife and sorrow, may we live in a way that allows us to make use of the blessings we have been given for the benefit of those around us.

2024年も実り多く、何より健康に過ごせる年となりますように。争いと悲しみが絶えない世界ですが、少しでも自分に与えられた恵みを周りの人のために役立てられる生き方ができますように。
