以前、読書について書きましたが、実は英語で読書に集中できるようになるには時間がかかりました。

数年前は、読み始めても頭に入ってこずに寝てしまうという時期がありました。

I have written about reading before, but it actually took me several years to become able to concentrate on reading in English. I would start falling asleep trying to focus.

あきらめないで声に出して読むようにしてから、だんだん集中できるようになり、今ではすっかり読むのが楽しいと思えるようになりました。

As a solution, I read the books aloud. Gradually, I became able to concentrate. Now I find reading completely enjoyable.

読むことができる内容が広がると、世界もどんどん広がっていきます。下の絵ではそのことを描きました。

The more you can read, the more your world expands. The drawing below illustrates what reading did to me.
